Horizon Middle School Students Quality for
2014-2015 Duke University Talent Identification Program
á
Horizon Middle School is pleased to announce that the following students have qualified to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. The program is offered to qualifying students as a national academic competition. These students were selected because they scored 95% or better in math and/or reading on the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test and/or received a qualifying score on the NeSA test. They are now eligible to take the ACT or SAT.

The middle school Kearney Community Learning Center is currently accepting enrollment for our FREE homework assistance session and our enrichment courses.á Both of these services are offered every regularly scheduled school day.á Our homework assistance runs from 3:15 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., and there is no charge for this service!á Enrichment courses are offered for a fee from 4:30pm - 5:30pm.á These services are available to all middle school students that reside in the city of Kearney.á Please contact the associate director, Jessica Schlegelmilch at 308-293-5657 or jesschlegelmilch@kearneycats.com for more information.
